Immersion Cooling Server – General Specifications:

1. Liquid Temperature

  • Operating inlet liquid temperature:
    • Normal mode: 20°C–45°C
    • High-performance mode: 20°C–40°C
  • Inlet temperature control tolerance: ±2°C
  • Storage and transportation temperature range: −40°C to 70°C

2. Liquid Flow Rate

  • Nominal flow rate: ≥25 L/min
  • Flow regulation accuracy: ±10%
  • Reference: At 24 L/min, the temperature difference between inlet and outlet liquid is approximately 7°C in normal mode and 10°C in high-performance mode

3. Cooling Liquid Type

  • Insulating coolant: Shell S3X

Note: Detailed requirements for coolant performance and safety are described in Part 4 of the WhatsMiner Immersion Cooling Server Operation Guide V1.0.

4. Humidity Conditions

  • Storage humidity range: 5% RH to 95% RH (non-condensing)
  • Long-term storage humidity range: 30% RH to 69% RH (non-condensing)

General Information for Hydro Cooling Products:

1. System Preparation
Before powering on the server, ensure that all air has been purged from the piping system and that there are no leaks present.

2. Inlet Water Temperature

  • Normal mode: 20°C–50°C
  • High-performance mode: 20°C–40°C

3. Water Flow Requirements

  • Minimum flow rate per server: ≥10 L/min
  • Recommended inlet-to-outlet water temperature difference:
    • Normal mode: 10°C
    • High-performance mode: 14°C

4. Inlet Water Pressure

  • Maximum allowable pressure: ≤300 kPa
  • Note: Excessive pressure may cause cold plate deformation. Damage resulting from overpressure is not covered under warranty.

5. Liquid Medium pH Range

  • Required pH value: 6–8

6. Liquid Conductivity Requirement

  • Maximum conductivity: ≤100 µS/cm

7. Three-Phase Power Wiring

  • Phase wires: red, black, and blue
  • Grounding wire: yellow-green
General Information for Air Cooling Products:

1. Supported Operating Modes

The M3x and M5x series support Power Fast Boot and High-Performance Mode, provided the following conditions are met:

  • Ambient temperature: −5°C to 28°C
  • AC input voltage: 230V–240V

2. Fan Performance

For M2x, M3x, and M5x series, all cooling fans operate at full speed within a range of 7000–7500 RPM

  • Maximum power consumption per fan: 108 W
  • Maximum total airflow of server fans: 350 CFM

3. Power Cable Requirements

  • Cable specifications: 3 × 1.5 mm² or 3 × 2 mm²
  • Rated current: 16 A

4. Ambient Temperature Limits

  • Operating temperature range: −5°C to 35°C
  • For installations at altitudes of 2000 m or higher, the maximum allowable operating temperature must be reduced by 1°C for every additional 300 m of elevation

5. AC Input Voltage

  • Recommended voltage range: 220V–240V
  • Note: Input voltages outside this range may cause damage to the power supply unit (PSU).

6. Ambient Humidity

  • Recommended relative humidity: 20%–80%

7. Environmental Cleanliness

  • Recommended airborne dust concentration: below 0.5 mg/m³
Warranty Exclusions:

Please be advised that the product warranty does not apply under the following circumstances:

1. Improper Installation or Handling
Damage resulting from installation that does not comply with product specifications, or from improper handling such as unauthorized loading or unloading, pulling, lifting, dropping, impact, or rough movement, leading to issues including but not limited to loose components, unstable connections, or circuit board damage.

2. Incorrect Operation
Products that fail to operate normally due to improper use, including but not limited to incorrect insertion, incomplete connection, or failure to properly connect cables or components.

3. Unauthorized Disassembly or Repair
Any damage caused by disassembly, modification, repair, or reassembly performed without prior written authorization from the manufacturer, including the use of mixed or non-approved electronic components.

4. Use of Non-Approved Accessories
Damage or reduced performance caused by the use of accessories not officially designated or approved, including but not limited to power supplies, control boards, fans, cables, or other components that result in incompatibility or insufficient performance.

5. Use of Unauthorized Software
Issues arising from the use of non-approved or unofficial software, including degraded performance, abnormal operation, system instability, freezing, or burn-in.

6. User-Modified Operating Parameters
Damage, reduced lifespan, or failure caused by user-altered operating settings, including overclocking or other parameter modifications.

7. Non-Compliant Operating Environment
Damage resulting from failure to comply with specified electrical, network, or environmental requirements, including but not limited to operation in humid, corrosive, excessively hot, or dusty environments, or exposure to abnormal voltage or current conditions (such as surges, shocks, or instability).

8. Physical Damage or Serial Number Tampering
Products exhibiting physical damage or deformation, or products with serial numbers that have been altered, defaced, removed, or tampered with intentionally.

9. Cooling System–Related Damage
Damage caused by deformation or corrosion, including but not limited to:

  • Cold plate deformation in hydro cooling products due to excessive inlet water pressure or non-standard usage
  • Corrosion in immersion cooling products caused by improper pH levels, use of non-specified liquids, or excessive liquid conductivity

10. Force Majeure Events
Damage resulting from natural disasters or other force majeure events.

How long does a repair take?
If the service work order is created correctly, the estimated repair turnaround time is as follows:

In-warranty units:
The typical after-sales processing time is within 15 business days from the date the system confirms receipt of the product. Actual completion time may vary depending on repair complexity, maintenance progress, or high service volume, which may extend the turnaround period.
Out-of-warranty units:
The typical after-sales processing time is 15 business days after the payment confirmation has been received by customer service.
